Pop Art Portrait Lesson - Diana Ross
Our Pop Art Portrait of Diana Ross uses a flat black for the shaded areas of the figure in contrast to the colorful patterns of flowers and rainbows in the lighter areas of the image.
Pop Art Group Lesson - Diana Ross
In this example of our Pop Art Group Project, the light tones of the singer's skin are rendered in soft warm browns whereas the shaded tones of the figure use a darker range of colors. The background is filled with alternate shades of blue - an appropriate color as the 'Lady Sings the Blues'.
