Our
Pop Art Portrait example of Diana Ross uses a flat black
for the shaded areas in the figure in contrast to the
colorful effects of Ben-day dots in the lighter areas
of the image.

Art Group Portrait - Diana Ross
In
this example of our Pop Art Group Project, the light tones
of the singer's skin are rendered in soft warm browns
whereas the dark tones of the image employ a wider range
of deep colors. The light sections of the background are
filled with alternate blues - an appropriate color as
the 'Lady Sings the Blues'.
