Pop
Art Portrait - Abraham Lincoln
Our
Pop Art Portrait of Abraham Lincoln was created by using
black for all the dark tones and flat naturalistic colors
for the light clothing and skin. The background was divided
down the middle, one half filled with stars, the other
stripes. This adds a strong sense of color and pattern
to the image while symbolising the patriotism of the subject.

Pop
Art Group Portrait - Abraham Lincoln
In
our Pop Art Group Project of Abraham Lincoln, the dark
and light tones of the figure were shaded with various
tones of grey. The alternate patterns of stars and stripes
in the background were added to create a color contrast
with the monochrome portrait.

in our Pop Art group project. This is a collaborative
artwork for up to 20 people where each participant completes
an individual section of the image which is then assembled
with the others to create a unique work of art. See the
instructions in our Pop
